There are over 20 km of recreational trails in the watershed including the challenging Coquitlam Crunch, rugged Ridge Park trails, and meandering City Centre trails. Leashed dogs are allowed on all trails and there is an off-leash hiking trail in Ridge Park and a fenced dog off-leash area at Bramble Park. Please clean up after your dog and prevent your dog from entering streams to protect the sensitive habitat and wildlife in the watershed.

Hoy Creek Trail

The Hoy-Scott Watershed Society are stewards of the Hoy Creek Trail, a hidden treasure along the Watershed in Hoy Creek Linear Park. The peaceful, well-maintained forest trails connect people and neighbourhoods while park activities connect the larger community to the natural environment and the life cycle of the coho salmon that are raised here. Please note that all park systems in Coquitlam are no-smoking zones.
